Hi, I’m about ready to pull my hair out. I’m out of ideas on how to fix this issue. Please can someone help!!
I have used the Pure Highway 600 Bluetooth Device for many years and I’ve never had any problems, however one day I went to press play on my Spotify - just like I would every other day but this time it didn’t play. The device displayed “PAUSED” and would not play. I’ve tried pressing the play button but there is no response. I should add my DAB radio (a feature within this device) works, it’s purely my Spotify. Not sure if it matters but the phone I have is an iPhone 11 with the lad test software update.
I have since tried the following steps and it’s still not working.
- uninstalled Spotify app aswell as the PUREgo app.
- Forgotten devices and paired them again
- updated the software on my highway 600 device
-restarted my phone
-signed into a different Spotify account on my phone.
-used my device in someone else’s car
- used someone else’s phone to sign into Spotify
- I even purchased another Highway 600 (yes I know that’s maybe excessive) but I’ve tried everything and I wanted to rule out if it was the device itself.
- My spotify works on my phone normally, I’ve connected to a speaker I have in the house and it works fine. It’s purely this device in my car?!
- it’s linked via the fm transmitter - therefor I’ve used different frequencies but it doesn’t make a difference.

Same thing has happened to me and I have the same phone. I’ve also tried all these things and it’s not working. If you find a solution please share. It’s driving me mad.

You can play it purely through the BT Audio mode
Annoyingly for me I’ve only just purchased the Highway 600. I’ve looked online and nothing. I can only assume Spotify have stopped associating with Pure?

seems no Spotify support. Bluetooth mode is working but not direct spotify
I have the same issue with my android phone and highway 600. The Software error should be identified if investigated correctly by both Spotify and Pure. New providers will be only option to solve this.

Just received this from Pure which I feel is nonsense as I have always been able to play Spotify until recently.
My boyfriend makes it work by pressing 3 times quickly, but I am never able to do it myself so 🤷♀️
