spotify wont play chosen song

spotify wont play chosen song

whenever i press on a song it plays anything but the one i picked ive deleted and reinstalled the app like 6 times but its still not fixed and i have no idea what to do this doesnt seem to happen on my alt

Hiya royroyroyroy, that stinks you can’t listen to specific wubs yoi yoi yoi’s 😞

It is possible that you may not have a Premium account, as certain features such as the ability to select specific songs to play are only available to Premium users. If you're not sure whether you have a Premium account or not, you can check by going to your account page on the Spotify website.

If you do have a Premium account, there are a few things you can try to troubleshoot the issue:

  1. Clear cache: Clearing the cache can sometimes help resolve issues with the app. To clear the cache, go to Settings > Advanced Settings > Clear Cache.

  2. Check your internet connection: Make sure that your internet connection is stable and strong enough to stream music. If your connection is weak, Spotify may not be able to play the song you have selected.

  3. Try a different network: If you're using Wi-Fi, try switching to mobile data or a different Wi-Fi network to see if the issue persists.

  4. Restart Spotify: Close Spotify and reopen it. This can help resolve temporary glitches and refresh the app.

  5. Check for updates: Check if there are any updates available for Spotify and install them if there are. Sometimes outdated software can cause compatibility issues.

  6. Try a different device: If the issue persists on your current device, try using Spotify on a different device to see if the issue persists.
