I have a new rank in the Spotify Community

micko_spot
Casual Listener

Apparently as of last Sunday I am a Newbie.

Except I've had an account since 2009 and a paid subscription since 2011.

Does it really take more than 8 years to reach this monumental milestone?

Hey @micko_spot

You seem to be on a 'Casual Listener' rank for now, at least that's what I see. 🙂

The rank is linked to how many posts and comments you've made in the Spotify Community. It's like in any other forum, after a certain amount of posts you get a new rank. It doesn't matter how long you've been using Spotify music service, it's pretty separate from this board.

Hope that helps!

Sort of Sebasty. It looks like I jumped from Newbie to Casual merely due to the fact that I posted and asked the question in the first place? Doesn't explain why I became a Newbie as I hadn't posted zip all in the first place?

The Newbie-status is given to everyone joining the Spotify Community. Next statuses will be earned through posting comments.

Let me know if you have more questions! 🙂

There must be a bit more to it than activity in the Spotify Community.  Unless I'm misreading, I'm a "songwriter" and haven't been terribly active in the community.

My response isn't much of a solution, but apparently if you mark it as a solution my ranking will increase?!  🙂
