Can't log in to Desktop Spotify

Hi,

I have been using Spotify for a couple of months now, with some issues. About a week ago it wouldn't let me play any of my songs or playlists because I had run out of 'free plays' after searching the internet I came to the conclusion that I should reinstall which I did. 

I am now trying to log in with Facebook which was my original login. I can log in to the web player and to see my account online but every time I try to log into the desktop version it says that the Username and Password is incorrect. 

On the login screen where it says login with Facebook, I tried clicking that and nothing happened so I have been entering my Facebook login details in the username and password bit. Because I logged on with Facebook I was never given a username so used my name and when that didn't work both my primary and secondary emails for Facebook.

Please Help!!

P.S I had real difficulty reinstalling so if avoidable I would really love to not have to do that again.

Hey RachaelDewhurst - Came across your older post and just wanted to check in. How's signing into the desktop app working for you now?

Signing in with your Facebook email and password should work just fine for you. Do you have any extra security settings enabled with Facebook? If you're still having trouble please let me know--we'll get it sorted.
