Charged even though I'm in free trial period?

Charged even though I'm in free trial period?

I just signed up for premium and was told my first month would be free, yet I was charged already and I'm nowhere near the end of my first month.

 

Can somebody please help me understand why I was billed? You ran consistent ads on my Spotify telling me my first 30 days were free and I'm now getting charged. I'd love an explanation.

Hey! Welcome to the community 🙂

As this is a payment query, the best thing to do is get in touch with the customer services team directly using the online contact form and they will be able to look into this for you personally.

If you get an automated email reply back directing you to the community or help pages, you need to reply directly to that email (even if its from no-reply) and one of the customer services agents will get back to you as soon as possible.
