Hello,
Firstly, apologies for starting a new thread, I know there are suitable one's already such as here but I don't seem to be able to reply to them.
A "practical joker" in my office decided to delete all the songs out of my biggest playlist which I have been building up for about four years. He then clicked a few other things meaning I couldn't just Ctrl Z it back. I have submitted a request on the form, but I'm just concerned that the playlist hasn't itself been deleted, just all of it's content. Is this still recoverable?
Feeling pretty low about this because I'm sure I can't manually recreate four years of accumulation very quickly. Any help would be so appreciated.
Thanks.
Solved! Go to Solution.
Should have included this on the original post sorry.
Playlist is called "Massive Playlist". It was deleted today about 12.00 UK Time.
Thanks again.
Hey 🙂
If it is recoverable then the staff will be able to restore it for you from that form. Normally they will be able to roll back to a previous date on a playlist to get the tracks back 😉

Thanks so much for the reassurance. I know it sounds ridiculous, but feeling pretty devastated!

Your friend is a big, gaping butthole. What an ass. Did you whack him?
Probably would've but he's a big fella. Like Wayne Rooney and the Abominble snowman's six foot six love child. Really lost it at him though. He's very sorry now and he's offering to pay for a month's subscription for me. Still fuming...
Just been restored! Thanks so much guys!!!
Also found out about the method of backup up by selecting all tracks, pressing Ctrl C and then pasting into Excel. They can then be pasted back if needs be. I'm going to be doing that right now.
Thanks again! Such a relief!
Haha I'm glad i was logged into the client and saw them coming back or I might have started smashing computer equipment.
Thanks a lot Sam, you are a star 🙂
Hello -
My Spotify desktop app (Mac) was recently updated. When looking at my playlist titled 'dope', I hit Command + F to search for a song within the playlist. Thinking I was typing into the search query, I then hit Command + A to select what I had just typed and then hit Delete to restart my search. Apparently in the new version of the desktop app, Command + F doesn't pull up search within the playlist, and I ended up Command + A selecting every song on the playlist and then hit Delete. I deleted ALL the songs on my playlist which I have been building since the beta Spotify launchd in the U.S. I was unable to Undo and retrieve all the tracks. This is extremely devastating to me as this was my primary playlist which I listened to every day of my life.
I was unable to use your 'recover deleted playlist' feature because the playlist itself was not deleted, rather all of the content of the playlist.
PLEASE help me retrieve all my tracks. The tracks were deleted on March 12th, 2015 at approximately 5:00pm EST.
Thank you for your help.
The ability to search inside of a playlist will be coming back in a future update.
I suggest you contact support so they can help you get the songs back
