New credit account not recognized

New credit account not recognized

I recently had to cancel a credit card account because the information became compromised. I updated my payment method with the new credit account number on the 16th, and the Premium service was billed to the account. However, I logged on today and Spotify told me that they were unable to renew my subscription. Upon further investigation, my Spotify subscription was still using the old credit account number, despite me having changed that information a few days ago. Again, I don't know how this could have happened, as my subscription was billed to my new credit account. It's as if Spotify "forgot" I had updated my information but still stuck me with the $9.99 Premium bill. I looked under the Spotify receipts page, and the payment I made from a few days ago didn't exist. Please help!!
