Offline mode - Changed country in profile but still unable to get Spotify account online

Hi guys,

I sent an email, but got referred to the community page.
I'm currently using a free Spotify account and I've tried to update my Spotify details to USA with a US postcode and my account is reflecting these changes. My account was working for two weeks (I assume this was the 14 day free travel period).

However, now my Spotify on my Macbook is stuck in offline mode (stating that the country I am in does not match my profile).

I have read the Community pages and have the following things to note:
1) I am Australian so I have an Australian credit card
2) I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling etc.

 

Please help!

Hey! Welcome to the community 🙂 

 

What is your current country set as in your online profile? (In the drop down menu).

There is also an FAQ on this error here which might be of help. 


If you are having issues getting it changed or its not working, you will need to get in touch with the customer services team directly using the online contact form and they will be able to assist you further with this.

If you get an automated email reply back directing you to the community or help pages, you need to reply directly to that email (even if its from no-reply) and one of the customer services agents will get back to you as soon as possible.
