Password unrecognized, account seems to be in strange state

Hello,

 

This afternoon when I opened Spotify on my iPhone, it gave me the message: "Login Failed. Could not login to Spotify. Maybe you've changed or misspelled the password?" I have not changed my password. I attempted to log in a few more times, all with the same message. 

 

Next, I attempted to reset my password. I entered my username (mfbridges) in the password reset form. It told me an email would be sent to the email address on file. I never received this email. I tried the reset password form a second time, using my email address this time. I got the message "It looks like you are using your Facebook credentials to log in to Spotify. To change your Facebook password go to your settings page at <a href="http://www.facebook.com" target="_blank">facebook.com</a>."

 

Next, I attempted to log in using Facebook credentials on my iPhone. It brought me to a page where it asked me if I was 'mfbridges', and if so to log in with my spotify details. When I did so, again, it told me incorrect password.

 

 

I then went to the website and attempted to log in with my spotify details. Incorrect password. I attempted to log in with facebook credentials. This time it logged me in. When I went to the subscription page, it told me I was a Premium member until 9/17, until which time it would go free. This is strange because I've been a premium member for 3 years, and was just billed on 9/3/13. I think something strange has happened with my account. Please advise what I should do next; I'm paying for premium and am not able to access Spotify.

 

EDIT:

I just attempted to log in using facebook credentials on my iPhone again. This time when it asked me if I was 'mfbridges,' I said no and chose the other option. It logged me into spotify, however ALL of my playlists are gone and it tells me I am in a 48 hour free trial. What is going on?!?!

Hi. You've created a second, facebook linked account which is why the playlists don't show and you're on a trial premium membership. Your original account was a non-facebook account and you would log in with your spotify username/password.

 

Have you checked your email spam folder to make sure you never received the password reset? I think the quickest way to fix this now will be to use the online contact form and someone at Spotify can help get this sorted. If you get an automated reply directing you back to the community or to the help pages, make sure to reply to it directly (even though it says not to) to speed things along.
