Removing songs from playlist

I would like to remove a song from a playlist I created but the delete option is not active because the song is not in my library, I took it from a friend's playlist. How do I get this song out of my playlist?

Hi AlexisM - Hm, that's quite strange. I don't see why you wouldn't be able to remove that track. 

Is the track in question a local file? Or a track from Spotify? Is it possible for you to post a screenshot?
