Unable to purchase music

Unable to purchase music

I am unable to purchase music through spotify. When I try to a prompt appears with a username and password field. My password is always rejected however I can sign in online fine with that password. I've gone through the password reset process but even after that I'm still having no success. The username field is greyed out and is not allowing me to edit it but it contains my email address ending in @googlemail.com however in my account info I've got my email address ending in @gmail.com. I think this could be the root of the problem. I've tried changing my email address back to ending in @googlemail.com in the account settings but apparently there is already an account with that address. I must of changed my email to @gmail.com from @googlemail.com at some point since I last used spotify to download music and the systems has got confused. Is there anyway I can sort this so I can purchase once again.

Are you signing into the Spotify client using your Spotify username and password (not email address)? 

I would suggest you get in touch with ther customer services team using the online contact form and someone will be able to assist you directly 😉
