[Progressive Rock] Post Your Prog Rock Playlists Here!

Progressive rock has its roots in the U.K. and originates from psychedelic 60s rock. Bands added influences from jazz and classical composition techniques to their songs. Good examples are Emerson Lake & Palmer, Yes, King Crimson, Genesis & Pink Floyd.

Prog rock spread to other countries in Europe, also to Spain. I used this website http://www.progarchives.com/ to compile my playlist. Enjoy the selection!

Just for Steven Wilson's Luminol your playlist deserves a like! Cheers!

@Alvaropj87 Thanks for sharing. Some feedback: i think the age period is too broad, new isn't from 2000 in my opinion. I would set the time period from 2015 to now. Try to add the best song of an album, don;t add too much songs from one album. The playlist is a nice collection of songs but it needs finetuning.

I loved animals as leaders, haven't heard from them before. I have been stuck in the 70s too long 🙂

Hey, Jazzwhatever!  I think you and your followers might like some new American prog from RoSFest 2018 performer Lines In The Sky (from Nashville, stunningly).  The playlist contains most of their 2018 album tracks, from mathy/jazzy/rock "Judith" to the heavier dynamic title track "Beacon" and epic Halo videogame themed "Library", as well as some of their more straight-ahead metal-tinged rock from their side project A Notion of Silence.  Hope you enjoy this; thanks for the opportunity to share it!--ZJ26
