My Question or Issue

The home screen on my car thing has stopped updating.  It has had the same playlists since February and whenever I play anything new it does not show on that recent played home screen like it used to.  I have tried a clean install of Spotify (deleted files from phone, uninstalled, restarted phone), factory reset of car thing (but it still has my playlist presets and the same recent from February after I reconnect).  Not sure what to do, Ohio just passed a distracted driving law and I used this frequently to just click and play, but it has stopped operating properly.
