So this isn't connected to the discontinuation of Car Thing and would appreciate it left as a standalone topic so we can have a better discussion about it. 

Our governor just signed HB 24-1112 into law which applies to (nearly) all electronic devices sold in the state after July 2021.

Spotify - can you have your legal team outline the steps I need to take to access the documentation, firmware and embedded software necessary to work on and repair the hardware you've sold me?
