Superuser Contribution Car Thing breaks Windows Spotify app until it's reinstalled

If Car Thing is turned on while PC Spotify is open, PC Spotify skips through songs in the queue quickly without input. It completely breaks my PC Spotify until I reinstall it.

Superuser Contribution Car Thing not responding to voice commands

Hello, recently Spotify Car Thing will not respond to voice commands. When I say "hey Spotify" it shows that it is listening, then Immediately says something went wrong. I have tried all the trouble shooting steps and none have worked. Please help.

My car thing backlight is no longer working. All other functions of the device are working but I cannot see the screen. If I shine a flashlight into it I can see some portions of the UI.
