Music so meaningful you can't play it much anymore

Hey 🙂

As the title goes.
Do you have tracks that carry such a memory or emotional weight that you can't listen to it too often, or even not anymore?

Death Cab For Cutie’s “What Sarah Said” is a difficult song for me sometimes.

If they are meaningful to you, why wouldn't you want to listen to it?

Yeah... sometimes I wanna listen to those type of songs more, but other times it’s like, “Girl, you need to let that go.” kinda vibes. /shrug

often when I think of my mother, I listen to this song. but listening too often will also make me sink too deep

The feelings and memories associated to the track may feel a bit too heavy to listen to that track more often, or when you're not in the proper state.

I absolutely would avoid listening to a certain Bil Bless album when I'm feeling  a bit blue. I listened to that album quite a lot around the time my dog left us and was found comatose...

It's a beautiful album though, but that feeling is still there within me:

Honestly I find it difficult to listen to Ed Sheeran's "Castle On the Hill", that song just puts a lump in my throat every damn time I hear it.
