Uplifting Melancholy (aka the best of Indie pop)

Hi again,

As said, I'm in Spotify for two reasons.

This kind of music is the original reason.

All started when someone sent me a link to Numb of Sam Brookes and I fell for it.

From there I've discovered Charlie Cunningham, then Billie Marten, RY X, etc.

I call it uplifting melancholy because it's far from a resigned depressive kind of sadness.

There is beauty and fire and strength.

See it as a sort of musical homeopathy, sadness which washes away sadness instead of reinforcing it.

The melancholy in this playlist hooks on sadness, and its beauty lifts it up.
