What are your favourite concept albums??

I've been listening to this artist The Dear Hunter for a long time now.
His "Act" series, a list of concept albums that all follow the same storyline, has just completely blown my mind.

It left me wanting for more, so I decided turn to the Spotify community to share more of their favourite concept albums with me!

Been listening to them a while, but their newest album Mystery Cove is by far my favorite from Monster Ralley.

This album description is from their bandcamp (https://monsterrally.bandcamp.com/)

"Mystery Cove, is a soundtrack to an imaginary movie both fit for the vaults of TMC and primed for a grindhouse exploitation flick screening. Mystery Cove contains a narrative arc of young lovers on an island getaway. As the grooves spin, Monster Rally reveals a cabalistic presence in the jungle that leads them on an adventure of surf competitions (“The Big Surf”), voodoo terror (“Tourismo”), and plenty of slushy cocktails (“After Hours”). The occult meets the salt-rimmed rum mix on Mystery Cove.

Since his Coral LP, Monster Rally has been an analog to the exotica forefathers. His reinvention of cocktail music via luau-loops and tchotchke breaks evokes a mondo vision of the subgenre. With Mystery Cove, the quiet village is not what it seems, and every resort comes at the cost of indigenous displacement. Beyond the florals and brightly feathered fauna is inferno in paradise."

Hawaii by Aisles is one of my favorite recent concept albums, I'd definitely say it's one of the best of the decade. It got some really good reviews last year. Love its post apocalyptic story

@LukeSkyFAKER I love that you posted Kendrick! Another one of my favourite rap concept albums is Jesus Piece by The Game. The story of being a gangster but still having a relationship with God. I swear this album was the only thing I played for months after GTA V came out since Ali Bomaye was part of the game soundtrack. Hope you like it if you haven't given it a listen yet.
