Thanks for bringing your feedback to the Idea Exchange!
We’re closing this idea since it doesn’t meet one of our Idea Exchange guidelines, namely point 7: “No pricing, subscription or content related requests”.
We work together with third parties (e.g. Musixmatch) for licensing reasons. Once the lyrics have been verified, artists or their representatives can add them to their database. After adding (editing/transcribing) those lyrics, they are then ready to be synced to Spotify. You can read all about it here.
If you notice an error when reading the lyrics of a song, you can report it directly to the provider. You can find the provider at the end of the lyrics screen on the app.
