Spotify is mostly about Spotify – then the labels – then the artist – with us customers at the bottom. What about making it more about the customers?
For example, why not enable Premium users to customise their Home page so it feels as if it relates to them.
For example: on my Home page 80% of the content is of no interest.
Made for You: Thanks, but I don’t want it. Make it an option that I can access when I feel the need for it.
Fans Off: no thanks. Why not enable me to select an artist or album and then search for ‘ find similar’?
Editors Picks: don’t know him or her – or more likely, the ‘editor’ is an algorithm - so not interested in their selection.
And on the Home page goes, full of your selected content that I don’t want. No option for me to add, tailor or delete anything. Even though I’m the one paying!
