I have an issue with the Spotify desktop client (and mobile). I work as an Events Assistant and use Spotify for music during the events (pre-show, breaks, outros).
Not being able to filter the songs by "Explicit" seems reasonable as this would impact the artists (tho it may push them towards making better music than just b**ch did this b**ch did that).
However, my frustration is still hearing swear words even though my playlist contains 0 songs with the "Explicit" tag.
Upon further inspection if I go to the individual song which is not marked "Explicit" neither in the playlist nor in the play queue I find that the song is to my surprise "Explicit".
I am observing an inconsistent behavior of the desktop client (and mobile) as sometimes the song does have the tag in the play queue, but still does never show it in the created playlist. Some songs do, some songs don't.
I would ask the developers to look into this. I can provide more information about the setup, the version of the software and anything that would be helpful.
