[All Platforms][Music] Top Charts Based on Genre

Hey Spotify Community & Team,

 

I've seeing all these country charts. It's a cool idea, but when I am honest, I never look what's going on there.

But I am thinking about GENRE-BASED-CHARTS.

In my opinion it is much more intersting to look at these, because there are so many great artists in unpopluar genres that want to be discoverd.

And maybe you can simply FOLLOW your favorite charts to get a weekly or monthy update from your favorite genre. I think that's gonna be a great experience?!

 

Hope for some responses from you & maybe it can be soon involved to Spotify..

Very Good idea but i guess its hard to realize, because there are so many subgenres.. For Example one of my fav genres on spotify is „Punk“ because i listen to a lot of Hardcore but i‘m not interested in any classic Punkrock, Pop-Punk and other punk stuff.

I keep bumping this idea and then it becomes inactive. Very frustrating.

I'd really like to have this feature. I have to go to third-party websites to get this information right now which is bad user experience.
