Hello Team,

as i wrote in the subject, i would like to request you to create a second kind of german language setting, one "traditional german" option and one "gender sensitve" option for those who like this more than the traditional german.

For me i have to say that the gender sensitive variant of the german language is really hard to read and gives with every star within the words an opstacle.

For those Spotify employees who are unfamiliar with German grammar: in German, grammatical gender has absolutely no meaning. For example, the term "die Führungskraft" (which means something like "leader" or "executive") is female. But no one in Germany thinks exclusively of women when they hear the word "Führungskraft". From this you can see how ridiculous and superfluous the "gender star" is. Please return to proper German. Then I will consider to return to Spotify as a paying customer.

vht4rfpvqz6olr6 is absolutely right. There are more examples in the German language for generic "female" words: die Person (person), die Koryphäe (luminary), die Hoheit (highness), die Leiche (corpse). 

It is ironic that the same people who consider it very important to distinguish between s_e_x and gender cannot distinguish between s_e_x and grammatical gender. The Wikipedia article on grammatical gender states: Note, however, that the word "gender" derives from Latin genus (also the root of genre) which originally meant "kind", so it does not necessarily have a sexual meaning.

At the end of the day, it's not about logic and language, it's about ideology.

Ich nutze Spotify sehr gerne. Doch, wenn die politische/ grüne Sprache nicht demnächst optional verfügbar gemacht wird, muss auch ich leider kündigen.

Ich mag Spotify, nutze es schon seit Jahren und zahle gerne die 10€. Aber wenn ich selbst hier, wo ich einfach nur Musik hören will mit dieser Gender Ideologie (denn nichts anderes ist es) behelligt werde, sehe ich mich leider gezwungen, den Anbieter zu wechseln.

So what's next? Banning any artist and song which shows the tiniest bit of machisme or only refering to masculine attributes as something positive or romance between men and women? No, probably not because customers would leave in droves and this would cost real money.

But the **bleep** politically indoctrinating language is annoying enough. I fixed it on my Android devices by setting the app's language settings to English but I can't do this on Fire TV without doing it for the whole damn thing.

I give it some more time but if spotify continues with this <beep> and ignore it's users i will not only cancel my family substription (and endure my daughter's complains for having to recreate her play lists in some other platform) but also sell my spotify stocks.

Hey, please make the spelling with the * in the middle of a word optional, for example "Künstler" instead of "Künstler*innen". I'm testing some streaming services at the moment. I like Spotify. But this spelling is annoying. In English it would be like "Artists*esses".

No power to the gender mania. The German language automatically includes all genders with the default nouns. The gender deluded UI completely breaks the reading flow and makes understanding what does what extremely difficult.

Please stop with this nonsense!

I was hoping that the use of the wrong German Language was just a certain period. Sadly you are sticking to it. As I can't even switch to english, I am going to cancel my family account in two Weeks if you don't stop using the wrong German. I don't want to Check really every Service regarding if I can let my kids use it without the risk of beeing Politically Influenced.
