I just made the "brave journey" to Tidal in protest of Spotify's arrogant business desicions. The reasons are so easily fixable it just makes me sad. Lately, Spotify has really shown that Spotify Community just is a place where frustrated customers can let steam out, but why even bother when posts with 7000+ votes does not even get considered?
The reasons why I left (which are so easily preventable):
1. No Apple TV-app
https://community.spotify.com/t5/Live-Ideas/Partnerships-Apple-TV-Support/idi-p/3629 Issue posted 2012 – 7400 votes. Before you say this is Apple's fault, may I remind you Tidal has an app?
2. No Hi-Fi option
https://community.spotify.com/t5/Live-Ideas/Music-HiFi-Quality-Lossless-Streaming-16bit-44-1khz/idi-... Issue posted 2014 – 10 500 upvotes
Tidal would literally go bankrupt if Spotify gave us this feature.
My frustration with Spotify is summed up beautifully in this forum: https://community.spotify.com/t5/Closed-Ideas/Other-Apple-TV-App-update/idi-p/4263922
1) Are you creating an app for Apple TV?
If ‘yes’ then when will it see the light of day?
If ‘no’ then see 2)
2) Are you going to create an app for Apple TV?
If ‘yes’ then when?
If ‘no’ then see 3)
3) Do you realize that ‘we’, your subscription customers pay your salary?
If ‘yes’ then please create an app for Apple TV
If ‘no’ then also please create an app for Apple TV
4) Do you even read or follow this “support” forum?
If ‘yes’ then please answer us.
If ‘no’ then…. nevermind.

As you mentioned, a similar Ideas have already been suggested, and only one thread can exist per idea.
If possible, vote for them, and add a comment there, so they may be considered. Any update on the matter should be posted there.
