[All Platforms][Podcasts] Dedicated page for podcasts separate from music

I think listening and discovering new or latest podcasts is a totally different experience from listening and discovering music, that's why I think the podcast ecosystem should have a different section in the app.

In short, could you please create a page for podcasts, instead of have everything mixed in the first page?

It would be great having the Latest subscription episodes' and possibly a way to see all the subscription list.

Thanks

When I want to listen to podcast I want only podcast, same with music.

I hate that podcast enter to my recently played list. That's what stopping me to listen to podcasts on your platform.

podcast and music (With my search I have seen audio books can be added to this list as well) are too different to be at the same place, they should be separated.

I have seen a lot of ideas around it, in general people like to listen to podcast or music but not together.

My suggestion is to separate the podcast and music libraries all together to different tabs. They will have different queue and recently played lists.

When I would like to listen to a  podcast I'll have a lot of place for suggestions and explore, same as I have for music today.

Some of topics are talking about the queue and some do not want to see any podcasts at the app.

Kudos on the work you've done adding podcasts to Spotify. I've mostly switched to Spotify for Podcasts because of the player features, like cross device syncing and shared Spotify Connect sessions.

With that said, there have been unexpected consequences to this which have eaten away much of the music listening value I get from Spotify Premium. Keep in mind that I pay for Spotify Premium for the music experience, not the podcast experience. Spotify brings nothing to table from a podcast content perspective.

Since switching to Spotify for podcasts, I've found that they are now polluting my music UX. 100% of the time I know whether I want to listen to podcasts or music before I open Spotify. 0% of the time will Spotify sway my decision. As Spotify continues to mix podcasts into the music UX elements, the entire UX becomes less usable. This is the case on both the OS X app and the Android app

For instance, Spotify Home is now mostly useless. I used to use it to discover new music often. It provided a lot of value. Now there is almost no music on Spotify Home and it's harder to discover new music.

It's also mostly impossible to find recently listened to Artists or Albums since the Podcasts now taken over my "recently played" section. Actually, I can't even find this now area of Spotify as I write this, but I am digressing here and this should probably be a different "Idea".

Anyways, the moral of this Idea is that I pay for premium for the music experience, not the podcast experience. I now get less value out of my music experience than I used to since podcasts are now polluting all of the UX elements in Spotify.

Having music and podcasts displayed on the same screen isn’t the best. It’s cluttered now more than ever. Recommendations for Music get bumped for Podcasts and vice versa. Made sense for getting users accustomed to more music but, please, separate the two.

Make two tabs for the top of the app home-screen: Music and Spoken (podcasts, poetry, news, books, etc.).
