[Android] UX Consistency for Android Spotify and iOS

Currently, Spotify on Android does not support a couple of UX/UI features that are available in another mobile platform. I believe the following features - which are available already for the iOS Spotify app - would improve the experience for Android users:

  • Swiping up from the Now Playing bar located at the bottom of the app. This expands the small window into a full screen one.
  • Similarly, swiping down from the full screen Now Playing interface. This minimizes the full screen windows into the small bar at the bottom.
  • Swiping left to like a song when it is shown as a list.
  • Transparent status bar.
  • Transparent navigation bar.
  • Being able to add a song to multiple playlists at a time.

Adding these UX changes that already exist in iOS would definitely make the app better. While they are small changes, they can improve the feel of the app.
