[Android][Your Library] Select folder for local files on android

Being able to set a location like on the desktop app on an android device would eliminate getting unwanted files in the 'LOCAL FILES' playlist. e.g. I don't want voice memo's etc. showing up in 'LOCAL FILES' playlist, just my own local files which I could save in a separate folder.

Indeed, why do I need to record conversations in the playlist? I want to listen to music, not my phone talk! Make a CHOICE of the folder from which the application will take my local music! I had to create .nomedia files in each folder, but now I can't listen to the desired recording of the phone conversation, because the Phone application says to delete the .nomedia file, but if I do that, spotify include these recordings in music! Am I the only one who has this kind of inconvenience? More and more often I think about unsubscribing and deleting you 😞

HipaaHippo

@WAVESKLR I feel for you... I feel the same way 100%... it's sad, just sad that Spotify isn't doing anything about it.

I would greatly appreciate this feature. I record my calls (I have a bad memory) and I'd rather those 2000 recordings not show up in my music player. There is no reason spotify should be looking through my whole device for music, I don't want it touching my calls. There is a default folder named music, If you want the interface to be simple the least you could do is scan only the music folder.
