Spotify is not a CD or MP3 shop. Please, you must unblock all importations and countries limits for music. I live in Canada, in the past, I bought many CDs from here but some are imports, I use Spotify because it's the most easy way to listen my music but many of my favorites albums are not accessible. I f I searh by google, I see this albums are in Spotify but blocked in Canada, I don't know why cause I have the CDs... Maybe stupid laws, or bad distribution, but this must be stoped for streaming audio. If someone in Europe can listen a UNKLE album, I don't understand why I can't if I pay for a subcription me too.
Hi and thanks for your feedback! Unfortunately, regionally unavailable music is always a decision by the artist/label to withhold the content from Spotify in that region: Spotify always want to have all music available in each country. Sometimes it's temporarily unavailable while they sort out legal issues, in which case it'll be back up as soon as possible. You might also be interested in supporting this idea, which suggests a simpler method for requesting albums missing from Spotify.
