Our 2-year old is fond of Spotify ever since she was able to press buttons on a laptop over a year ago. However, she changes names of my playlists and I suppose she also manages to delete songs and even whole playlists. I would like to have a feature to prevent this.
Either a "sub-account" where playlists can only be modfied with passwords or a possibility to lock playlists from being edited perhaps?
Netflix has a "who is viewing?" mode when starting it. I don't know how they work after but perhaps something like that with the added lock function.
Hi, an idea whose functionality would also cover your suggestion has also been suggested here:https://community.spotify.com/t5/Spotify-Ideas/Partify-Spotify-Party-Mode/idi-p/42115
Though 'Party Mode' may seem quite different, if implemented, it would allow you to add passwords and disable the ability to modify your playlists. While it's been marked 'Not Right Now', Spotify staff periodically reviews these ideas and may choose to implement it in the future. Add your kudos and comments there please!
