[Desktop][Connect] Make the volume slider bigger

The volume slider is way too small to properly controll sound on Spotify for Windows desktop. When you have powerfull speakers it is easy to misadjust and cause unpleasantries for everyone.

Please make it bigger and more precise. It is now only the size of my thumbnail.

Please increase the size of the volume control, when playing through sonos the slider is way too small for the effect it has. Alternatively allow my tablet volume button to control the slider.

and extend the volume bar (Windows 10 Desktop App)

Spotify Connect is a handy feature, it's nice to be able to easily start playing music from a soundbar or dedicated hifi-speakers. However, when music is played from a sound device via Spotify Connect, it's difficult to precisely control the volume by using the Spotify app on a smart phone or desktop pc.

On desktop the volume bar for a Spotify Connect -device is small, and the space between the volume steps is very few pixels - it's too easy to set volume way too high on the sound device (since many devices are powerful and every volume step higher is a lot louder).

On a smart phone, when using the volume up and volume down -keys, each press is multiple volume steps higher or lower in many sound devices, and the volume is often either too loud or too quiet. There is also a volume bar at least in the android app, but that is again very small and it's too easy to move it up or down too much - again resulting to very high volume changes in the sound device. Smartphone's volume keys are also much more convenient so it would be nice to have them working nicely.

If you connect to a sound device via chromecast protocol instead of Spotify Connect, then each press of a smart phone's volume button changes the sound device's volume by just one step, which is greatly more precise and convenient. This way the user can also change the volume via a smart phone even when the Spotify app isn't active on screen (but instead in the background), and even when the screen is locked. Neither one of those properties work in Android when connected via Spotify Connect.

All in all, it would be great to be able to control sound devices (like soundbar/hifi-speakers) more precisely but still quickly and conveniently when connected with Spotify Connect.

Increasing the size of the Volume Slider for the desktop and iPhone controller is still a good idea.  It has been proposed a number of times, but still hasn't been implemented.  The sensitivity and high gain at the lower end of the scale is frustrating, and leads to some unexpected volume jumps.  Scares the dog, and me, too.

Come on Spotify.

Come the **bleep** on.

Its been almost a year since I posted this, everybody agrees. Its such a minor fix. Just make it happen already.
