I often want to find where a song is in the playlist — that's the main reason I use the search in playlist functionality. It used to be the case that when you search a song, then select it, then close the search filter, Spotify would show the playlist scrolled to the position of the song.
Since the recent update, this procedure does not scroll the playlist, leaving the scroll at the top of the playlist, so I don't know where the song is that was found. I have a few large playlists, so scrolling manually to find the selected song would take a long time.
I just found a workaround (play the song, then double click the album art — still navigates to the song even though search doesn't), so this is lower priority for me, but it would be nice if closing search still auto-scrolled.
