Folders are one of the most powerful resources Spotify offers for managing our music collection. However, if you have lots of playlists - which is probably the case if you're relying on folders - it can be very cumbersome to click and drag each playlist to a folder. Even more so if you have folders inside folders.
This would be much easier if we could simply right click on a playlist to open a dropdown menu with all of our folders - similar to the one for adding a song to a playlist - and then choose a folder or subfolder.
It would be extra awesome if we could Ctrl+click playlists to select multiple playlists - like we can with songs - and then right click to add them to a single folder.
Extra extra awesome would be allowing a single playlist to be placed inside more than one folder, like YouTube does. This would remove ambiguity, a frequent issue in music organization. For instance, if you have a playlist called Chill Out Soul, would you put it inside the Moods or the Genre folder? If we could add it to both folders , this would no longer be a problem.
