Following Feed Radio

Basically, I want to be able to turn the feed of people I'm following into a radio station.  I start this radio station, and then Spotify picks at random from the songs the people I follow are currrently listening to.  If no one is listening to anything at this time, then Spotify uses recent songs that my friends listened to as the basis for a general radio station.

Does this idea already exist as an app or even a regular feature of Spotify?

I love this idea. I pretty much would love to allow a friend to control my playlist (aka I follow he/she and, whatever he/she listens to I listen to). With great power comes great responsabilities.

Also, when I create a new radio station, I'd like the artists I follow to be FIRST in the list - I don't use Spotify to listen to the latest pop artists.

I had the same idea.  I think running out of songs would probably not happen if you had over 100 people you were following.  But I was thinking that I know a lot of people will listen to the same artist or an entire album, so maybe the Feed Radio should give preference to different artists so you don't hear the same artist over and over from that person,  Of course you could skip through it as well and it would be great to show who is playing that song. Or be able to turn them off your Feed Radio if they are playing something you don't like.  If you did skip all the way through the feed then you could always start over from an earlier time or day or play songs similar to what is in the Feed Radio. 

I think this is a great idea and would make the social aspect of spotify so much better.
