Hello! I have seen some ideas that involve tuning the songs to 432hz. I still think this is a very valid and important option that we should have as music listeners. I understand your, Spotify’s, response, by saying that you have some music that is already tuned to 432hz as it was intended by the artist.. And then the rest is tuned to the “standard” 440hz, also intended by the artist, (more like the government/controlling music labels - BUT ANYWAY..) I digress.
Well, I would just like to add to this idea, that you, Spotify, do give us listeners the option of the equalizer, which is essentially tuning the frequency in a similar way. I don’t see any reason there couldn’t be a “432hz” option on the Equalizer menu? You know? It is our right to listen to the artists’ music how we want; just like when there’s a meaning of a song that everyone may interrupt differently, (and most artists love and support that), I feel like the frequency in which we listen to their music is no different. It’s the same harmony, same lyrics, same instruments. Just a frequency that is scientifically healthier for our minds. We really can’t say for sure that the artist themselves intend to put out music in 440hz, can we?
Please help us, Spotify. Help us make a difference and let’s move away from the unnatural 440hz. Please. Do some research. It’s a weapon. Before the 1950s, all music was tuned to 432hz. Why is it such a strict requirement for music today to be tuned to 440hz? Why is it the standard? This is an important question we must all ask ourselves. It really makes no sense. (Unless you look at it from a grim perspective, then unfortunately it does make sense.)
At the very least, if you could send me a tip on how to adjust the Equalizer on my account to get as close to a 432hz tuning, that’d be rad.
Thank you for your time and consideration, have an awesome day Spotify!! 💙
