It would be nice to be able to scrobble to other sites like last.fm. GNU FM is a platform that allows others to set up their own sites and they run the site libre.fm which is supported by several open source applications. From what I understand it uses the same exact API calls that are used to submit to last.fm. What would be nice is to be able to add lists of servers to scrobble to and once a song has been played, Spotify just steps through the lists and submits to everyone added.
