My name is Mees and I'm a user of Spotify for a few years now, over the years Spotify improved a lot in my eyes. On the other hand, there are a few things that can be improved in my eyes.
So I just started a ''Public Spotify Summer''-playlist, and put it on ''Collabrative Playlist''. The idea was: people all around the world can add their favorite summer songs to it and share them with either, throughout this playlist.
But immediately, I noticed people could also delete the songs or change the order they are in.
My idea is to create a different feature so you can choose whether people can add/delete/change order of the songs. This would mean I can make a worldwide playlist were people can only add songs to my playlist.
The other option is to make ''Group Playlist'', so you can invite friends and family to your playlists and have a private playlist as a group. An additional feature would (again) be, to manage peoples rights to add/delete/change order of the songs.
I would like to see this being featured in the nearby feature so me and my family, friends and acquaintances can enjoy Spotify even more. Because that's what it's all about right? Enjoying the music!

Your idea was submitted a while ago and unfortunately didn't receive the amount of kudos needed to stay active in the ideas board (100 Kudos per year).
In order to keep the Ideas Exchange clearer I'll close this idea for now, but this doesn't mean Spotify rejected this idea.
If you think this is an idea which needs to be implemented, you're welcome to post it in a slightly different form 🙂
Have a nice day!
