I just updated the client on my desktop (well, I had to restart it sooner or later, so not precisely by choice) and when I tried to search for one specific song in the 'Your Music'-tab, with ctrl+f, nothing happened. After trying the button combination for a few more times, I tried a regular playlist, and to my shock, it wasn't working there either.
I have a 'Your Music' section containing roughly 1200 songs (which is small compared to some), and it is now a pain in the ass to search one individual song in the list. You either have to resort to tedious scrolling for minutes, hoping you remember the first letters of the song correctly, or hoping to get lucky with shuffle.
I can't imagine what kind of communication errors lead to this disappearance of core functionality (I'm saying communication error, because the thought of it being a conscious decision makes me lose fate in Spotify), so if this could be rectified, I would be gratefull.
The Ctrl+F functionality is returning to the new client, an exact date is as yet unspecified.
