I've seen many posts about this but decided to add my own as Spotify are clearly ignoring the issue.
Myself and many others are being followed by stalkers/abusive exes, etc and there is NO option to block them AT ALL. It was listed as a 'good idea' by spotify back in 2013!!
Since all other platforms have this feature, and it is easily accessibly and user friendly - why can spotify just not be bothered?
i dont want my stalker ex looking at my music, seeing what im listening to, he is blocked on every single platform/website etc (he's even blocked from emailing me because yes I had that problem with him) and yet he can just access my profile (he can see my profile picture - obviously I have him blocked on facebook so he can't).
Just feels like such an utter violation of privacy
Spotify will not get another cent off me - I will not PAY to be followed by someone I don't want on my profile; they've lost a daily user (I won't even be using the free version so I won;t be listening to their ads) and I would seriously urge anyone else who wants them to pay attention to do the same. Clearly unless their profits are seriously affected they are happy to let their users be miserable .
