Song Skipping After Ads

Status: Case Closed
by SmashingMelons on ‎05-03-2012 06:38 PM

I've noticed that recently after playing an advertisement, Spotify skips two songs in whatever list is currently being played and plays the third one down. Always seems to be two songs skipped at a time from what I've seen.

As hpguru said, this is not really an idea. However I believe this issue got solved now.
If it reoccurs, please use the help or bug forum, thanks! :)

I've had the same thing happen twice today.

I've had the same problems and it's really annoying. Noticed it a few days ago.

I've been experiencing this for about a week, now. So far it's only ever skipped one song at a time, but it happens consistently after every ad.

Anyone else notice that Spotify (the PC app at least) repeats the last song again after playing an advertisement.  This is pretty consistent, so hopefully will be easy to fix.

I've noticed this since I updated Spotify last week, as well.

Spotify will skip the same number of tracks as ads that play back to back. If it's just one ad, it skips one song, if there are two ads in a row, it will skip two songs, etc.

Same thing here.  Skipping tracks after ads.

I have the following pattern happen:

Song ABC

Song ABC

Song ABC

It's an endless loop.  Forwarding to the next song it the only way I am able to get out of this loop.

Similar issue here. After an ad plays then the song that JUST played plays again. Annoying, I don't want to hear the same song over and over.

Having this problem too. Selecting a song during an ad makes it go to the next in queue after the ad.
