Hi there. I would love to have a spotify app on my apple TV also. For now I am using a program called Airfoil. It's not free, but it works great. You can stream just about any selected program on your computer to your Apple TV.
Even stuff in Safari, iTunes, I used it quite a bit to stream Rdio before Spotify came to Canada. It works great and doesn't require airplay off your mobile device. So till they get an app prepared and finalized, give Airfoil a try if you want.
In case you're wondering... I don't work for airfoil.
The strange part is that my old Philips Smart-TV has a slooow Spotify App, but not the Apple TV. What's going on? Aren't they allowed there because of their iTunes music store or what?
