Spotify should change the money allocation to artists.

Now spotify is allocating the money based on (artist streams) / (total spotify streams). But when you are a subscriber like me my 70 % of artist money should all go to the artists that I listen, not divided to other artist that some other people listen to.

Example: I listen to spotify rarely, lets say 2 hours a month. Yet I still pay 5 € for those 2 hours. 2 hours is worth some 30 songs. So if the money went to the artists I listen to they would get 0,7 * 5 € / 30 songs = 0,116 € / song making my choises 38 times worth more than the current money spotify will play them. Spotify now pays 0,003 € per stream.

I would have to listen to over 1000 songs to divide all my subscription fee to the artists that I want. Thats more than 4 days of continuous listening.

Instead I want spotify to give all my paid money to the artists that I listen. Not to artists that other people listen. This would give me power to support the artists that I want (without leaving spotify on repeat).

Ah, thank you for your diligence. I tried to search for duplicates, not easy if one does not come up with the same words..
