Tokens that users can allocate to give money and visibility to artists

Give Premium users a monthly allowance of tokens that can be allocated to artists of the user’s choice. Tokens value could potentially be around 25 cents. Artists would keep 85-90% of the value from tokens given to them and Spotify could take around a 10-15% cut.

Also give an algorithmic boost to artists based on how many tokens they’re getting per month. 

Premium users would get maybe 4 or 5 tokens a month. Once assigned to an artist the tokens will continue going to that artist on a recurring monthly basis until changed by the user. Users can assign more than one token to a given artists. Users can purchase additional tokens or as an upgrade to higher level premium plans.
