Track songs played on a channel for users and retain that list when users switch channels

Hello:

I was wondering if it would be possible to build a feature into the Spotify app that stores a list of songs played on different channels and retains that list when the user switches channels. So if the user were to start playing (in whatever order normal, shuffle, smart shuffle) songs from one channel, then change channel and start playing songs (also in whatever order), the feature would keep track of play order (normal, shuffle, smart shuffle) and songs played on each channel and allow the user to resume playing from where they left off on each channel when they switch back to it.

It is frustrating when I change channels (or when the app just decides to change channels for me) and change back and the channel just starts playing from the first (top) song all over again resulting in the same several songs being played constantly. Also, I would really appreciate if the normal and normal shuffle (not smart shuffle) features were reworked to ensure that all songs in the channel are cycled through before any one song is repeated. It is really bothersome to start playing a channel on shuffle mode and hear the same several songs repeatedly.
