If music was previously playing on my MacBook and then I go to my iPhone and start playing Spotify using Siri, “Hey Siri, play music on Spotify”, it restarts playing on my MacBook.
There doesn’t seem to be any way to change this to my iPhone without opening the Spotify app and swapping to This iPhone.
Ideal solution would be if Spotify Siri Intent could either use a Resolution to ask which device you wanted to play back on if the current device wasn’t the last used. Or it could say which device it’s playing back on as part of the Intent confirmation and then have a different Intent, e.g. “Hey Siri, change playback to this iPhone on Spotify“ to swap the playback device.
Spotify version: 8.5.68.921
Device: iPhone 11 Pro
iOS version: 14.0 (18A5532f) (I’m running the latest Beta)
