So I'm pretty sure someone else must have tackled this issue as it is my main complaint with the otherwise exceptionnal experience Spotify is. The "Songs" section of spotify currently shows all tracks that have been saved, whether through album save, track per track save of addition to playlists. However, I think it would be better to make them clearly separated. 1) Songs added to playlists are already existing and listed, thus easily accessible. Why create what is basically a doubloon ? 2) Songs saved through albums should be only be found in the albums section, whether full albums or not are being saved. Again, this creates a situation of doubloons being created. 3) This leaves the only kind of title I would like to find in the "Songs" section : Songs being saved independently, and not found in playlists or as part of album saves. If this does not satisfy the community as a whole, I would propose a "Listen to later" option, separate from playlists, that would give access to tracks listened to "on the go" and that are not currently organized through playlists or albums. I am fairly annoyed that the "Songs" section of Spotify shows all titles I have on Spotify. It is not useful for me in any way, and forsakes the possibility of quick, on the go music saving. It is also my belief that such a method hurts social sharing, an option that Spotify seems eager to develop : On Facebook, I recently discovered I was sharing the "Songs" section of my account is shared with my friends... But to what use ? It is alphabetically sorted and as I have a fairly big collection of songs, it does not show at all the songs/artists I would like to share in priority with my friends. Cheers for the fantastic work otherwise.
