I have a Pioneer A1 Spotify Connect enabled speaker connected to my houses main WiFi network, which is great I can control it from my iPhone and iPad no matter where I am sitting. However, so can my housemates. Since the speaker is freely available on the WiFi network, anyone using Spotify (and all of my housemates do) can take control of the speaker, kicking me off. As you can imagine for something located in my room this is highly annoying! I would therefore propose that there should be an option/mode to set an account to have exclusive control of the speaker, meaning only an application signed in with a certain username can take control of the speaker. Thoughts?

In the previous update finding specific songs or artists in big playlists was as esay as clicking cmd-f and typing what you are looking for in the search bar (within the playlist, top right of the screen). If this same function could be implemented in the new version it would be much easier and faster to find your music and also it would make the application much more user friendly.

Hi There, Thank you for implementing the Recently Played list, it's been long wanted and a great feature. However, the way it's been done in the Android app actually means that reaching my playlists for example takes another click longer. Please bring back the "carousel" view, i.e. the pages being next to each other and you can just swipe to the left or right to change between Recently Played, Playlists, Artists, Albums, Songs. Thanks. Beze

I want to be able to select a song to be played after the song thats playing. I want to finish the song that is playing, but i want a specific song to be played after, without me having to go and click "play" after the current song ends. Ex: I'm listening to Radioactive - Imagine Dragons. and im in the middle of the song, but I find the song GDFR - Flo Rida (feat. Sage the Gemini and Lookas), and I want to play after Radioactive is done. So I want to be able to right click (or hold- mobile) and select "play song after" and that way, when Radioactive is done, GDFR plays automatically.

I would like a feature or an app that allows us to change the duration of a song. For example, I would like to create a playlist where I have one song play for 20 seconds, then another song plays for 10 seconds, and so on - without me having to change it manually. I've researched and can't find anything related to this. Probably because it's not very common to want only sections of a song, but sometimes it's nice. My specific situation and reason for wanting this: Making dope playlists that will make people spleege.

Hi all, I would like to use the Spotify Desktop App on Windows to stream the music to my Receiver (Onkyo), that supports Spotify Connect, just as it is possilble today from the iOS and Android Apps. In my opinion, there is currently no smooth way to stream spotify music from a windows pc to a stereo receiver out of the box: - Bluetooth has distance and quality issues, and is not built in in many PCs / Laptops. - DLNA is not supported and all tools I've tried were a pain. - Same with Airplay, it's not available on my receiver and an implementation via Apple TV and Airfoil has issues as well. A native implementation in Spotify would just be great and now that Spotify Connect is available for desktop the control part is hopefully not too difficult to implement. Anybody else finds this useful? What do you think? Cheers Gandralf
