I had heard in an article that Spotify was unofficially testing a new feature called "social session", which allows users to not only play a friends playlist, but to "connect" to it while it is playing on the hosts Spotify session "in realtime" while the host is playing it on his device. Then all listeners would be "synced" in real time to whatever is playing on the playlist by the host. I don't know if this feature has been officially released yet or not. ...but if so, where do we find it and how do we turn it on? Personally I am a user of IMVU, and a moderator for the Blood Moon Room dance club, where we have 3D virtual chatrooms, many of them clubs where music is streaming and playing, and all persons in the chat are hearing the music together in sync in real time. Many people are unable to go out and gather in person due to the Covid outbreak, which means that virtual clubs and dance parties online will become more popular. Again, it would be nice if a Spotify user could host a virtual dance party with playlists that can playback AT THE EXACT SAME TIME on multiple accounts & devices in multiple locations for virtual chat rooms, ....more specifically, us IMVU chatroom users. I am in agreement with "ladansmix" and others who have posted this idea. If there is already a method or way of doing this, please let us all know. This will help keep us all sane during this time of physical social isolation! Thank you! The Blood Moon Room dance club staff (in IMVU)
