Hey everyone, if you like the idea, you can explore and read more on it HERE on Medium The Problem Spotify has access to a lot of user information and data. Most features of Spotify aren't seen on partner platforms and limits functionality. The most underused section of Spotify in my mind is Concerts. This idea can not only increase use, but across platforms and allow for a more personal experience. The Idea Allow users to ask Google Home what is on 'this week' or 'tonight' etc. Once given that time frame it should return with the three most popular events for that time period relevant to the users music interest. Furthermore - It should allow users to purchase tickets for one of the events should the user want to. Why Spotify and not a ticketing platform? Spotify has user information including music interests and location. It already has the ability to give great personally tailored content. Google Home is normally linked with a users Spotify account which makes this an easy experience. Why Google Home? The Google Home's conversational aspect and remembering current topics of conversation along with its capability to 'deep dive' into a conversation makes this perfect to carry out the users requests whether its 'What time is the show" "How much is the show?" "Buy me two tickets" Or whether they simply know the show they want to go to and say "Buy me two tickets to the Mayday Parade show on Tomorrow night" Google Home also has now been enabled for payments (as of last week) Which makes this perfect timing to be the first platform to push this on Google Home and show off the best of the platforms.
