After the last update the physical gap between each song on the playlist is bigger. This leads to a lot of scrolling, and when you have a few hundred songs in a playlist, it will be a problem. Before I could see 51 songs on my screen, but now I only see 38. This is how it looks on my screen: It should be optional! Edit April 2014: It's even worse after the new update. Now only 21 songs show up at the same time.

Once upon a time, the context menu when right-clicking a track or album was ordered like this: PLAY Queue Start Radio Choose as Current Radio Add To > Unstar Copy HTTP Link Copy Spotify URI Copy embed Code Share... Delete Now, in 0.9.1.43, it looks like this in the Windows application: PLAY Unstar Add to > Share... Start Radio Queue Copy HTTP Link Copy Spotify URI Copy Embed Code Delete Why move Queue so far down? Queue is by far the item I use the most, and I much prefer having it at the top of the context menu. Please return the Queue context menu item to the top of the context menu, or at least add an option to do so. (I tried to add images to the post, but just couldn't figure out how to do it...)

The volume button was moved to the extreme edge of the screen. I think that's probably one of the most common controls I interact with though outside of play/pause/etc, so I was wondering if that could be swapped back to its old position, or if the controls could become drag and drop. Also i'd really like it if Ctrl+F let people search for individual tracks on long playlists. My list of stared tracks is a couple thousand long, and that's always a good way to find some obscure track i'd really like to hear. Without it there's no method of digging up starred tracks other than manually digging through, but the feature comes and goes enough it might be worth it to export lists for a backup.

9 times out 10 I have to squint or search for the scroll bar, it's very annoying. I am on PC. And it is too small and dark grey on a black background. IMO that is a really stupid design and it should be improved. Fix it, OR at least add an option for colour change. (screenshot is a cropped version, so the scroll is bigger than it appears on full screen)

In the desktop app I find sometimes I am listening to a radio station or subscribed to a playlist and I fall in love with a song. Problem is, the only way to star a song while I am somewhere else in the app is to click on the song's cover art, then mouse over the song playing in the list to see if I have starred it yet, then click star. How about just a little star next to say, the volume, or random buttons in the control bar to show if I have starred the track, and allowing me to star it right away? I think someone already posted an idea for a star shortcut key. This would also be ace, being able to map it to a function key or something similar to be able star even when the app is not in the foreground would be ace. Small children love music, and even toddlers know how to use an iPad or a touch-phone. Would it be possible to create a skin/interface for small children that would allow parents to make playlists for their kids? The interface should be as simple as possible, with mostly album graphics and different colors and symbols on the different tracks. This interface should be opened with its own icon on the device.

Some laptops such as the Lenovo ThinkPad series and many Dell Business laptops have a little joystick mouse integrated on their keyboard. I am not sure what it's general name is but I have heard some people call it a nipple mouse. Below the spacebar on such laptops, there are with three buttons; two for left/right click and a center button, which, if depressed while scrollable documents are focused onscreen, will scroll the doc up or down depending on how you pull on the joystick on the keyboard. Vertical scrolling in such a manner works fine in Spotify but for some reason horizontal scrolling does not. I have been able to replicate this on every laptop with this kind of pointing device. It's not a big issue but it's incredibly annoying. I am not sure how hard it would be to implement; it could take just a few lines or it could be be a driver issue.

Dear Spotify, I'm a new paid customer and I absolutely love your service but as a paid customer, I want (the iOS) Spotify (app) to be even better. Here are some issues you could make better: AUTO-OFFLINE MODE: Make an option for going into offline mode automatically when on a mobile network. It gets annoying to manually switch back and forth when on wifi, oh and make the switch for offline mode more accessible, with a tap or two less. AVAILABLE OFFLINE PER SONG: make the option for making a song available offline in a per song basis! This is a must! Especially to manage more precisely the limited storage on mobile devices. MAKE THE AVAILABLE OFFLINE SWITCH *LESS* PROMINENT: it's way too easy to touch it by mistake or even to confuse it with the filtering option! Which brings me to my next point, make the filtering MORE prominent and a... FAST-LIST SCROLLING. SYNCING: Downloads should be faster, possible in the background, PAUSABLE, the indicator shouldn't just be in the "playlists" tab, not limited to 3,333 and the USER should be able to set a limit according to the remaining space in the device. Now it's almost random how much space left Spotify leaves empty on the device right when it just stops trying to sync more songs and it also seems to try to sync more everytime (but fails, wasting bandwidth). Thanks for solving these ASAP 🙂

I think the new library system ('your music') is a great step foreward when it comes to organising music. But in terms of usability it is still lightyears behind non-streaming media players like Winamp, iTunes, WMP... If you just want click around and listen to music without really knowing what to hear, Spotify still can be a real pain in the ass. Especially on the desktop version... When I go to my library ('your music') and look at the page of all my artist or albums, I can see only 8 complete ablums/artists at once. 12 when I also count the half abums/artists... I have about 130 Artists/ 300 albums in my library. Being only able to see 8 albums/artists at once, this amount of music is really hard to handle with such an interface. An optional list view would make things a lot easier. Additionally the songs view is still just confusing and kind of chaotic. I have about 3500 songs in my library. When I want to look for a bunch of artists/albums (not only one) it is hard to find anything. It is just a really confusing and endless list of songs. You can't just click around and just listen to music without knowing what you want to hear. There isn't even an optical seperation beetween different artists and albums... It would be way more useful, if there weren't seperate views for artists, albums and songs, but a combination of them. Or if there were just an integration of album and artist filter in the song list (not just a search function). It would be awesome if there was a possibility to split the Screen when you're in the song library an show a list with Artists, Album the list of songs. Like we all know it from from any other music player (Winamp, iTunes, WMP...). So you could click on an artist or mark a bunch of artists and all titles, albums and genres that aren't related to these artists disappear. Just like predefined filters for all the artists and albums in the library. By that it would be much easier to search to search for music in your library without knowing exactly what you are searching for.
