Have a feature that allows users to turn on or off a voice that comes on before each song naming the song and artist. Would be helpful in recognition and discovering new songs. Possible integration with Siri in iOS.

Hi. After much time thinking, I've come to the conclusion that Spotify, lo and behold, offers a far better music experience than Microsoft's own Groove service. However, there is one thing missing that I believe is crucial to this experience that gives Microsoft a few extra brownie points is apps. Spotify's desktop app, while being the go-to for all desktop users, is feeling the age and is starting to get clunky. My suggestion to the Spotify development team is to build a new Spotify app on the Universal Windows Platform. The benefits of this are huge. The UWP allows for porting of the great iOS app, making development a bit easier, and the UWP allows for one code-base across devices, meaning that one Spotify app could run on a Windows 10 desktop, phone, Xbox, and even Microsoft's HoloLens. With support for features like Cortana, users could call up their music with a simple voice command, without ever having to leave their work or their games. This app would bring a much needed refresh to desktop users on Windows 10, and could strengthen Spotify's customer base by reaching out to those on Xbox and Windows Phone. I strongly urge all of my fellow listeners on Windows 10 to upvote this, and let's get this ball rolling.

All of us have that one friend (if not ourselves), who just CANNOT RESIST sharing a new song that they love with their friends or family. Can't we make it easier for them then, to share the music they love via Whatsapp? With over 700 Million Whatsapp users worldwide, surely Spotify can tie up with Facebook and facillitate an in-app music sharing ability via the cross-platform mobile messaging application. This will definitely get a lot of music lovers to download Spotify, and will also encourage them to download Spotify Premium once they discover the magic of Spotify. Anyone with me on this? Hi everyone! So, Apple recently announced that Siri would be open to developers to allow voice-control over their apps. It sounds very logical to me that Spotify would integrate Siri. Commands such as "Play my driving playlist", "Add Stairway to Heaven to the queue", "Add this song to my collection", etc... This would be very useful in many situations, either from a Mac with macOS 10.12, an iPhone with iOS 10 or even an Apple Watch with watchOS 3. I find myself using Siri on my Watch a lot while driving, mostly to switch to the next song in the playlist. More features would be very welcome.

I make lots of playlists, and adding music to them while I'm on mobile is a hassle. I would love it if there was a button similar to the "+" button, except you can designate an "active" playlist, so when you press the button it quickly adds the song to the "active" playlist, regardless of whether you're in that playlist or not. It would make it far easier to build playlists on mobile, and we wouldn't have to click through a large menu to do it (a menu that I'm always accidentally clicking out of).

Spotify used to have a toggle in their mobile apps to turn off Volume Normalization (better known as "Set same volume for all tracks") or not. Now, it is forced on all mobile users, and it greatly takes away from the music quality! What's the point of 320 KBPS streaming when most of it is being shaved off in normalization?! I have contacted Spotify support multiple times, as this is a deal breaker for me. Please bring back the option to turn Volume Normalization off!

Hi guys! I RELLY love Spotify, it's one of my favorites apps! But I think you should improve the quality of the playlists desing and organization! How? Well, it's easy: 1- Allow the users choose an image from the camera roll to put on the cover of the playlists. 2- Create a way to organize the playlists in subfolders. Something like: my folder "ROCK" should includes subfolders (playlists) of different kinds of rock. It would be VERY nice organize my playlists in folders! PLEASE GUYS! My app it's a mess!

I just drove from my house to a Starbucks in the next town over to see a friend, and it just took me one James Taylor - Sweet Baby James to get there. Imagine if down the road, based on the estimated time of your arrival, Spotify could find an album or playlist based on your tastes that's the approximate length of time of your daily commute, errand-run, or soul-searching road trip.

Whenever I pull up an album in my music sometimes I want to see the rest of the album. Rather than click on the triple dots, scrolling down, and clicking "go to album" why not allow us to click on the white album title text above the "save/saved" button to be taken to the album?

I love Spotify, but please change the color of the scroll bar!! It's dark grey on a black backgroud. It's virtually impossible to see, and I have 20/20 vision. Everytime I'm on, I just have to keep stabbing with my mouse to finally find the thing to be able to scroll down.

Hello, I spend tons of time with friends recommending songs to each other to listen to. It would be cool to have an app where we could create a group together and share songs/create playlists together. You could even create a 'live session' where it alternates who gets to pick the next song. You would be able to name your groups, invite friends to groups, and be members of several groups. A group or individual can upload the playlist as public and allow other app users to listen. The community could then like the playlists giving each member or group a score or something to show their playlist popularity.

I love to make playlists, however they tend to take ages on iPhones, I don't have easy access to a desktop! I would like to see any improvements such as the ability to add more than one song at a time! Which led me to the ability to merge playlists! For example I would like to make a UK Urban playlist which would involve merging 3/4 of my current playlists already made, as it would take me many hours to be able to do this manually! Thanks, Lee

The mobile app's options are counterintuitive and frustrating as a user per individual track with the low placement of the "Go to Artist" option, even more so that it's below "Go to Album." I notice that usually when I'm listening to a track and I want to pull up info to play more, likely I want the option "Go to Artist" right off the bat (like the desktop player option order.) If it's an artist I know enough to specifically want to only go to the album (the choice that is actually before the artist one on mobile), likely I already had it pulled up and can press back but otherwise I can find the album just as easily and MORE music from the artist by going to their general page. I daily find myself frustrated on the mobile app that the "Go to Artist" option is almost hidden at the bottom (I do this daily and miss it so many times almost if I'm not ready for it because it's very counterintuitive). Even more so, that it's below "Go to Album" since I've never needed that option since I've used Spotify. I definitely think at the least it should have a more emphasized spot on the options per individual track on the mobile app or at least make the mobile version when you click options from an individual track more intuitive for users.

Recently on spotify I have been blasted by the advert for a horror film, and it has happened at various points in the past as they advertise these films. I can deal with most things but I just don't feel being forced to listen or turn down (as I usually have to now) an advert which has screaming and crying adults and children and horror sounds, not to mention the videos, is okay. I don't mind other adverts unless they are ridiculously sexual but I think horror films are in a league of their own, especially when its late haha! I just don't think its fair to force people who don't enjoy hearing horrific noises to listen to them and make them feel unpleasant or sad. I propose to have a system where the user can ask not to see a certain advert (limited number of requests so spotify doesn't loose anything). This should make the adverts more bearable and people not want to switch services, I know the adverts are meant to be annoying to gain premium customers, but the horror ones are a step too far I think.

On iOS mobile devices, when you are in the current queue and you queue something, it takes the view back up to the top of the list. this can be extremely obnoxious when i am, for example, in the car for a long drive and i'm tryiing to queue up a dozen or more songs, i have to scroll down back to where i was.

On the streets around you and you will see that it randomly located songs released as pins. The songs come partly from your own playlists, starred songs, friends' most listened songs + new music from your favorite genres. You start the function. Now when you walk past a song and put it into a list for the next playing songs. Do not like the song so you can easily switch the controller on the headphone cable or directly in the cell phone will play the next song up. The app also records the number of steps / speed / walking route. Depending on your walking pace so placed songs on the map at regular intervals. You can also easily select if you want a song will never be randomly selected for you, a song you do not like. Although it sounds silly, so I think it can be good pure PR strategically. It will be a hot topic in friends and in social media, traditional media also teaches them latch on to.
